Matthew the Dragonflame master

This is Matthew. Matthew is a british seventeen year old, self confessed "stereotypical nerd" and has had a life long passion for fantasy card games. Ever since he opened his first booster pack of Pokemon cards at the tender age of six, revealing the glimmer of a shiny jiggleypuff from under the foil packaging, he has been blessed with the ability to escape the mundanities of the real world. He wears his expansive collection of novelty t-shirts with pride, with references only the most established geek would understand.

However, he would be the first to say that he is "awkward" or "anti-social", so most of his social interactions revolve around playing or talking about board and card games. In his peer group of like minded nerdy males, he has got all of his friends hooked playing "Dragon flame" and likes to think of himself as an expert player.

On the side of being a Dragon flame, Matt's interests also include watching movies both at the cinema and at home, his genres of choice being science fiction and fantasy. Video games, on his array of consoles, are also a big part of his life, some of his all time favourite series ranging from final fantasy to pokemon to the tekken.

He is not currently in a relationship, although he would love to meet a girl that he can dazzle and charm with his fantasy card game mastery and perhaps share his passion with. He was raised in a nuclear, lower-middle class family and lives in his three bedroom family home in Scunthorpe with his Mum, Julie, and Dad, Jeff, who are supportive, yet slightly skeptical of their only son's hobby, even though they think he'll grow out of it eventually.
